About Megan Adams

Megan has deep expertise in zero waste retail solutions, as a zero waste business owner, coupled with over 5 years consulting with Accenture.

Megan started her career post-University at Accenture, working in the Retail Technology team supporting major UK retailers such as Dixons Carphone and TJX Europe with large scale implementations. In 2019, Megan setup Re:Store, a zero waste store in Hackney and has since been working with the local community to spread the message of reducing waste. Additionally through the platform of the shop, Megan has supported zero waste installations, such as Queen Mary University student campus shop.

Megan joined the Unpackaged team in March 2021 to act as Programme Manager for the Refill Coalition Project - a complex project involving the management of a coalition of retailers, logistics companies and equipment manufacturers to design and launch reuse and refill solutions. Megan is currently, alongside continued project management roles, managing the pooling for the online solution. This involves managing the reusable packaging assets around the supply chain, including supporting the setup of the wash standard.
